7am with Rich Walker, steady 2hrs 33mls, local lanes, worlds end, hambledon, bat&ball, hayden woods, old mercury, teglease down, soberton, back of newtown, chairmakers and loop back via furzely, george inn. Misty then pouring but prepared as always for the elements, good ride with good company

Saw you coming up portsdown towards the george at about 8.40. You looked determined racing through the rain. I was in a nice, warm, dry car getting unfit.

same again next week only different route - pair of hours steady, kick off around 7am (nice and light)

You didn't tell me you'd be 'racing' up portsdown hill, I might have come out to play! haha
