will pass the George at 08:15 going for a pair of hours, approx 30 miles

A blustery early morning ride. Skipped the George and went up past QA hospital up and down Portsdown to Southwick, back lanes to Start hill and left before the Horse & Jockey, Hoe street up and over passing the back of Hambledon, along the main road to the right turn before the Hurdles PH, up to Teglease Down, right pass the Sustainability Centre and the back lanes throuh Hayden woods up to the Bat & Ball, right into Hambledon, then back lanes (lovely road) passing Worlds End, Chairmakers, Denmead double roundabout, Furzely, Purbrook Heath and up to the George (road-works gone) and home.

Windy, drizzle, mud (loads of mud next to the gated entrances to fields, and especially at the bottom of Hayden Woods Farm!).

2 hours & 32mls later, batteries charged.
