PNECC President given prestigious award

Club President Dick Evans has been awarded the RAY PRICE MEMORIAL CUP for 2011 for long and loyal service in the promotion of Time Trials in the south of England.

Ray Price was a prolific promoter of Time Trials in the Bournemouth area for many decades and was a loyal member of one of the south's biggest cycling clubs, the Bournemouth Jubilee Wheelers. Ray is still spoken of fondly and this is a great honour, not just for Dick but for our club.

I remember Ray Price's great sense of fun and it's good to know that his name lives on. This is indeed a great honour for you and the club we both love.
