Nick.A and myself rode the a3crg open 10 this morning. A good turnout of 60 riders hit the start line for a blast from Petersfield-Liss and back on the A3.
I set a new PB for a 10 but was initially disappointed by my time despite the PB but with temps hitting freezing point overall times were slower than usual.
However I was cheered up on finding out I had won £20 for posting the best improved time!!
The event was won by Seb Ader of a3crg in 20:17 at an average speed of 29.5mph! I found myself trailing down the leaderboard with a time of 24.05 and Nick put in a 22.40 which I believe is a bit down on his best for the course.
I can also say I have raced against a former Yellow jersey wearer as Sean Yates was riding today and posted a time of 23.14.
All in all a good event with a good range of cake available at the finish which lets be honest, is what we all go for anyway!! Laughing

I was checking out today's road race course actually Mark. 9 times up a 25% incline, like to see the testers add that to their 10 mile course.
