Just to share with you about the great knobbley ride I had in QE Country Park this morning in the snow, managed 90 mins of lots of hills in a white out bliss, no cars, no people, pure silence. Even tho my gears froze up and the tyres wouldn't grip in places because the snow was too deep causing me to walk and the pace was slow my average heart rate was fairly high by the end of the ride, proving it was a decent workout. I enjoyed every minute of my solitude with nature and it reminded me why I enjoy riding my bike ....and to top it all the hot chocolate, Egg & Bacon Baguette from the cafe was marvellous.
