1 Mega Meon July 1st 2012 on Fri 06 Apr 2012, 10:46

Very Happy Here's the calling card then fellas (girls & boys) I've signed up for the Epic 95 miles. Lets use this year to top 2010 and get ALL of us out as ONE and return as ONE. It isn't about Gold Silver or Bronze, it's about going out together and finishing as a club together. bounce

Suspect That doesn't mean without preparation, get those miles in and get used to drinking regularly and eating on the bike to keep your energy levels up now. 11 weeks to go, lets make 2012 a PNECC Mega Meon to remember! alien

Entered months ago but it does clash with Ras de Cymru if 3 other people fancy entering it with me? £250 for 5 days racing with half board accommodation, open to cat 2/3/4 riders - will sell out.

That looks pretty cool to me, Jerry. I would definitely be up for that; assuming I get to a good enough standard by this time next year.

I also like the look of the Mega Meon although I don't know if I will be available for it yet so put me down as a maybe for the epic Smile

I know that you want to do the epic as I group, But I have been training for this since mid December last year and want to do it in the time I have set myself......This is a very personal goal for me. Surprised

With the fear of being ostracised from the club looming large for non participation, I've entered the standard.

What's the target time? I'm sure you'll make it if you've done your training...

No problem Keith, I think you should be able to keep and average of 16mph without to much problem. Remember to pace yourself early on as you'll be running on a high for the first 40 miles or so.
