PNECC Prize Presentation 22 November 2015 at VIBC

The Road and TT racing seasons are over for another year, and therefore it’s time to celebrate the Club Members achievements with a Prize Presentation to reward the efforts involved in 12 months of physical exertion and competition.

The PNECC Prize Presentation will be held at the VIBC Clubroom, Alex Way, Portsmouth, from 5.30pm on Sunday 22nd November 2015.  The format will be a 3 course meal, followed by a guest speaker, and then the prize presentation. The cost of the meal tickets is Adult £16; Children (16 and Under) £8.

The menu is as below, so please let me know your choices by reply email to social@pnecc.co.uk , and let me have the appropriate payment before Monday 16th November. No Money = No Food. Cheques to be made payable to “Portsmouth North End Cycling Club”. I will be at VIBC on Monday nights, but not on any of the Sunday Club Runs, however, monies can be given to a committee member, who will then notify me of the payment. Please contact me if you’d prefer to pay by Bank Transfer, so I can pass you the details.

Members not wishing to eat are of course welcome to join us for the prize presentation, which should begin about 7pm

Starter: Tomato and Basil Soup (V) or Prawn Cocktail
Main : Roast Turkey and trimmings, Beef Steak Diane, or Baked Pepper stuffed with Mushroom Rice (V) . All served with seasonal veg and roast potatoes
Sweet: Christmas Pudding and Brandy Sauce (V) or Berry Meringue Roulade (V)
Special dietary or allergy requirements can be catered for, if advised when ordering.

Subsequent to the email giving details about the Prize Presentation, it became apparent that many of our Youth Members are racing at Calshot that afternoon. To enable them to be able to attend, the start time has been changed to 5.30pm.
Apologies if this causes any inconvenience.

After Dave and Paul kindly gave me £100 for the 12 hour record, I donated this to Portsmouth Down Syndrome Association. They are asking for a photo to put in their magazine - does anyone have a photo of me getting the envelope and the trophy? Thanks.
