I take it its all systems go for tomorrow? If so, can you put me down on the startsheet for a late start, should get up there by about 6:40 so cutting it fine!!
HRC were turning people away on tuesday so thought i'd get in there just in case!!

Hi Tom Sign on should be open from around 5:45 to 6pm

I'll see if I can edit my previous entry too, as Alan is not an SDV member, as far as I know

Great turn out last night, great to see. Thanks as usual to all who gave their time to help, really good to see some accompanied young riders out there too. For what it's worth I think it's a great idea, really good to see the club being supportive in this way during the enforced gap in youth racing.

I managed to go two seconds faster than last June, marginal gains!

Are the speed correct though? Last year I took longer, but had a faster speed? Maybe it was calculated on 10 k last year and 6 miles this year... anyway, I guess it's the time that matters!

Not sure mozzy, as I've just looked at last year's event (11/4/13) & Den Tapping's time was 15:04 @23.9 mph, yesterday Chris Fletcher completed the course in 15:04 @ 23.89 mph.

You were not in that event, well not according to my start sheet.

How far out are the speeds you are referring to & I'll look at the corresponding start sheet, if I have it just in case there an error in the formula.

June, I'll look at June spreadsheets. Note to self - read the whole message several times

June spreadsheet has 6.2 miles as the distance, don't know why but there you go, mystery solved ish. Yesterday's has 6 miles. I'll have to ride it & see what Garmin comes up with.

Ray, If you'd rather stay propping up the beer festival bar, you could just look on the Strava recent activity page for PNECC Club. James Ayton, Tom Morris, Dave Dawkins and I all have 6.2 miles recorded for the course. :-)

That'll be coz it's a 10km route then I'm an imperialist unlike you youngsters.
