Nick Andrews

I rode this open this morning, never raced on any of the 'G' courses before, even though it was organised by Worthing but was up near Horsham.I did not know what any of the first 15 miles was like ,even though you can look details /directions on the net ,it does not give any view of what the the undulations are like or the road condition. It was rolling, but quite fast and the road surface was pleasantly good.the first 15 miles are on 'A' roads then you do the last 10 on the A24(very similar to the a3 but with a better surface) which I am familiar with and drove past on the way up.I had no trouble with any junction ,all well sign posted/marshalled,and I posted a time 57.02,no ideal of position.everything about this event was positive and I will be back for more.

Sounds good Nick. The A24 has been resurfaced extensively over the past couple of years, particularly north of the Washington junction.

I'll be riding up to Partridge Green this coming Saturday but from Hove, so I'll probably be using the quieter B roads.

Sounds good Nick, will try and give it a blast at some point.
Will be trying out the G10/97 course next monday (Stenying-Shoreham-Stenying), will report back here.
