PNECC Club Event P829_9 2-up Team Time Trial Today at 12:11

Hi all,

Signing on / registration for this evening's event will take place in the usual place.

Wickham Community Centre; in the car park to the rear of Wickham Community Centre (Address : Mill Lane Wickham, Hampshire PO17 5AL)

That is where you need to sign on. The cost is £4/person; you do not have to ride as a pair, solos are welcome

Signing on will be from approximately 18:00; first rider(s) to start at 19:00

The start is approximately 2 miles from the HQ so you'll need to factor that travel time in too.

I'll be riding the course shortly in order to carry out a risk assessment.

I cannot guarantee that the event will take place if the weather conditions make it too hazardous or unsafe; the BBC weather forecast for Wickham at 19:00 is not looking too promising at the moment .

Thanks Ray. Could you please post on this thread if you cancel to reduce the number of people turning up. A positive 'still on' would be good too. Ta

I've decided to cancel this evening's event due to the gusting winds.

It was not too bad earlier but I've just finished putting the signs out & the weather has deteriorated enough for me to take the decision to cancel the event on safety grounds.

Apologies to those who turned up; both helpers & riders.

I'll go & collect the signs
