PNECC Club Time Trial 11th April 2013

Hi all,

As a reminder; our first evening TT is this coming Thursday.

Further details are on the TT section of the PNECC website PNECC

Registration will take place, as usual, in the car park at Wickham Community Centre (Address : Mill Lane Wickham, Hampshire PO17 5AL) from approximately 17:45

Any person (under 18 year of age) wishing to take part must have a CTT Under 18 Consent Form which must fulfil this criteria "PARENTAL CONSENT TO BE SIGNED BY PARENT OR GUARDIAN OF ENTRANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18"

For information; starting time priority will be given to PNECC members over guests, as this is a club event. Ideally everyone who wishes to ride will be accommodated, weather & light conditions permitting.

I dont know whos doing the signing on but put me down on the list, I have to wait for the wife to get home from work so I am likely to be there by the skin of my teeth in a worse case scenario!!

I'll be heading up too - my first TT since getting back on a bike 4 years ago ( and actually my first TT since 1989!). Bit nervous to be honest!

Jerry - I'll bring along the cash for the kit you've been holding for me. Thanks again for that.

Yes, great turnout for the first evening TT of the year. Was certainly getting a bit gloomy by the time I got in!! Whats with the leg warmers JC, #Rule 5 please!!

Ah, touche!! As mentioned elsewhere you can take those 12sec off the 3 mins!!

12 seconds? Strava says your PB on that course is a whopping 23.22 set 31st May last year which means you were slower than that tonight

Strava also says I completed the full 10 mile course at an average 28.8mph! Don't believe everything you read....

Thank you to all those helpers who made yesterday's event so successful. Our TT events cannot take place without your commitment & support

We are staging our next event on Sunday the 21st April & it is the 3rd event of the PTTL/PTTS 2013 season.

We will possibly have even more riders taking part than yesterday's 39 so we will probably need a 2nd pusher/starter as well as turn marshals.

There are 5 or 6 junctions that would benefit by having at least 1 marshal in attendance, so if you are not intending to ride in the event but are available to assist in any capacity on the morning of Sunday 21st April then please let me know. Thank you in advance.

Great turn-out for the first event! I was gutted not to have been able to make this Thursday having had to stay at work later than I hoped, should definitely be lining up for our PTTL next weekend though!
