Cheers, that was really fun. Glad I decided to give racing a go!

How did the later races go? Sorry I couldn't stay around to watch.

Charlie and I were in the 3rd's, a group of 6 or so got away , we were no where near it, cant speak for charlie , on final lap lost my legs with just 3-4 in front of me and we were clear of the group, turned squares on the last 30yrds, a few went past me. Clearly we need to do some threshold training !!!
Think Jerry rode the 1-2 cat, pulled up after 15 mins or so not feeling great.

Well done Tom, Im sure thats only the begining of a great season for you.

Congrats, Tom! Aside from being showered in someone's raspberry flavoured drink and a minor detour onto the grass, a pretty uneventful start to the season for me.

Good to see such a good turnout for the PNE today. Only saw the 4ths race, Tom smashed it in the sprint, Alan.C and Paul.G looked good throughout, up front and out of trouble with a placing for Alan (5th i think) and Paul just missing out on the points (i think) tho he got boxed in coming round the final bend!!
A special mention for Tom.G who broke off the front after about 10 mins and gained a good half lap on the field and held it for about 8/9 laps but eventually got dragged back. Having had a go at that myself in the past I was feeling your pain there Tom, top effort!! Very Happy
Got me in the mood for a bit of competition so looking forward to the start of the TT season, first PTTS event on the 2nd March if anyone fancies it!!

Very Happy Next track coaching session 12-2pm on the 2nd March - so looks like we'll be looking at some threshold sessions and endurance? Unfortunately it clashes with the PTTL TT (unless of course you reckon you can TT AND then attend the coaching session?).
As stated elsewhere well done all who rode today alien

Personally I ride a felt not a time machine, PTTL kicks off at 2. Can we bring TT bikes to the track for a warm up?

13th place for me, better than I thought. Same time last year came in around late 20's early 30's , so doing a bit better.

Can only operate TT bikes if they are in an individual group, can't mix roadbars and aero in the same group (unless track used specifically as a TT session - as we have done in the past). So technically, yes we can cater, but surely any session warm up benefit would be lost by the time you've travelled to the TT HQ? Suspect

If there is demand for a TT specific couple of sessions, let me know, and if there are sufficient numbers we can arrange as required. This would benefit those with 'new' TT machines, and those with recently fitted aero bars, prior to the TT season getting into full swing. alien

Well I plan on also riding to the HQ so I should stay warm.

I reckon a TT session would be of use to a few people. Hopefully James hasn't forgotten the plan to enter the Duo Normand so we need to do a bit of practising, although I think he's waiting until I've got some new stabilisers Razz
