I think someone from Fareham Rotary club brings his wristwatch. This year they might have invested in a stopwatch.
To tell you the truth I can't actually remember but it was very accurate, the only downside was the start which took about 20 mins of queueing. It's a good route though, pretty rolling and the main test is up to Ditchum School.

Some of the PNE crew were out again today doing the Southdowns Challenge. Young Rob P, Graham and myself. A nice route but harder than last year. Sorry Graham they certainly added some hills in a bid to avoid the A32. I did the 50 in 2.47, which considering some of the lumps was happy with.

Hi Carl I have to agree that was harder than I expected. Turned in a time of 3:08 (Garmin 3:07:5 so they are accurate as you said) which is bang on the money for 5C gold for me. The computer for some reason printed silver but they are amending it to a gold, splendid fellows.
I was doing ok until Ditcham where I seemed to lose some time off my average but the slog from West Meon to Corhampton was also most unwelcome, but managed to pull it back to 16mph in the end.
